Mushrooms 29 May 2015

If you know anything about mushrooms please check out this photo and tell me if it's poisonous or not. It was growing outside the rehab center where Larry is staying. I thought they were so interesting I took pictures and then got a little one to bring in to show to him. I put it on his tray to show it to him and was on the phone with somebody and had to leave the room. When I came back he said it was a mean trick for me to give him something to eat before he was going to brush his teeth. Of course I freaked out thinking it may be poisonous and it just poisoned and my husband. Please please somebody help me! Is this mushroom poisonous?

Larry was in a rehab facility to help him get strong enough to walk again, following his diagnosis of Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma. He had lost his ability to walk because of a 14 inch tumor next to his spine.
